We should arrive to our Hotel around 7pm for our first night in Rome. We are thinking of heading straight out and do the Heart of Rome Walk which includes: Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, Piaza Navano and Campo de Fioro.
This should give us a great opportunity to see Ancient Rome all lit up at night as well as having a nice late dinner at a local cafe.
I'm not sure if this is insanely aggressive or if we will be so amped up on our first night that this is a brilliant idea. I guess time will tell. Worst case scenario, we do it another night. I do have a feeling that we'll hit the town big that night.

I am guessing we will have some energy, but it will easily disappear if we don't get going pretty quickly. I have read that once you get to Europe, go out right away. If you lie down...even for a 20 minute rest...you wont get up until the next day. We can do it!!!
